Hello! I just wanted to write you a quick note to tell you how much I appreciated you letting me observe in your classroom this past semester. I learned so much more than I ever expected to learn. Every time I came to your classroom, I felt like a sponge, soaking everything I could up. It was such a great first experience for me, especially because it was my first of out many more to come.
I learned more than I ever thought was possible. The reality of how much you can learn in an actual classroom compared to a lecture hall became very real. Even from my very first day, I learned so much about classroom management, classroom set-up, teaching, lesson-planning, and even how students learn. Everything I read about in textbooks became real. I remember having a discussion in one of my classes about the idea of separating genders in the classroom. There were a lot of different opinions on whether people agreed with it or not. When I came to your class though, I got to see firsthand what that looked like and how it played out in real life. It was exciting!
I am very thankful for the way you truly let me get involved in the classroom. Even though I was told to only observe in your class, you let me work with students one on one and get involved in the lessons. I learned so much about myself, students, and education in general through that experience.
Overall, I just wanted to thank you for allowing me to come into your classroom. The whole experience was so meaningful and special to me and I learned things that I am sure I will never forget.
Thanks Again,
Beth
