Project 2 Reflection

Project 2 was especially frustrating. Out of all my classes I have taken throughout my thirteen plus years of schooling, I have come to realize that I have never struggled with an assignment as badly as I did with this assignment. There are multiple reasons why I think I struggled so much. The first and probably biggest would be not understanding the prompt. I had this idea in my head that it needed to be a research paper but I also needed to talk about certain texts and both those things didn’t seem to go together in my head. Every proposal I came up with seemed so boring. I tried writing my paper so many times. I also changed my topic so many times. However, after a very rough start, I finally found a topic that I liked enough to write about. After this, the paper got considerably easier. I chose to write specifically about the community of the College of Education because that is a community that I am beginning to get involved in because I want to be a teacher. Furthermore, I chose to focus on examining field experience as it relates to the College of Education. I knew that I could talk a lot about this because there are so many aspects to consider with that topic. Even though this Project had a very rough start, it turned out being alright and I am happy with my finished product.
